Recap of Dallas Cowboys training camp practice #7 in Oxnard (tweets + videos) – Blogging The Boys

After taking a day off, the Dallas Cowboys returned to the practice field today. They are now just a few practices away from participating in the preseason Hall of Fame game. It really is starting to feel like football season.

A quick injury report before the practice starts.

Michael Gallup should take part in practice today after rehabbing the ankle the last few days.

No Tyron Smith today, & no throwing for Dak.

Except that Tyron Smith must not have gotten the memo about not practicing. He showed up in pads.

More injury stuff.

DeMarcus Lawrence & Trysten Hill are in helmets for their rehab work today, pulling a weighted sled behind them during wind sprints. Definitely more than we’ve seen from them to this point.

CeeDee Lamb still retuning punts, y’all.

Blake Jarwin FTW.

The backup QBs are finding some success.

In goal line, Gilbert and Rush combined for 3 consecutive TD throws, last to Cedrick

More from Diggs.

Sean McKeon is trying to stick around at TE.

Connor McGovern continues his improvement.

Connor McGovern getting a lot of snaps with the first team at LG while Williams takes backup center snaps. Looks really good doing it too. #CowboysCamp

Nice throw after climbing the pocket for Garrett Gilbert.

You can’t teach length.

A summing up of action in the secondary.

Cowboys nickel CB Jourdan Lewis returned to practice, having missed bulk of camp. Maurice Canady impressive in absence. CB Kelvin Joseph also saw full workload today. Still on second team but gradually pushing Anthony Brown. Rookie further along than team expected at this stage.
