Moberly Monitor-Index office phones temporarily inactive – Moberly Monitor Index

As of 7 a.m. July 14, it is unfortunate that the Moberly Monitor-Index phone system – retaining the same phone number of 263-4123 – has yet to be activated when the MMI office was moved July 12 to its new location on the second floor of the former Commerce Bank building at Suite 201, 208 W. Reed St.

While the phone system is temporarily inactive, persons are urged to communicate with the MMI via email. Once the phone system is activated, a notice will be made on its Facebook page and on ithe MMI website.

In addition, Gannett Co., owner of the Monitor-Index, has chosen to continue to keep the MMI office doors temporarily closed for public walk-in traffic or access. However, appointments can be made by the public to visit the MMI office by contacting Sawyer or Embree.

The Monitor-Index will continue to print a newspaper and post an online E-Edition on its website ( on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Persons are encouraged to visit its website daily to read news content and advertising displays.
